Looking for

Lower Mill Estate?

Note that the holiday estate is not in the village, but to the south of the Spine Road. There is no direct road out of the village to the estate.  Clear directions are given here. Warning, your SATNAV should not be trusted, unless it accepts a full 6 digit postcode, in which case you should use that given on your rental instructions, as experience shows that many people using satnav arrive in the village and wonder why they cannot find their holiday home.

EMERGENCIES

Recent water and electricity failures have reminded us that many of the emergency numbers here are NOT in the phone book. There are NO electricity or water numbers in the phone book! You cannot use landline wireless phones when the power is off either. Do you have at least one corded phone that works without being connected to the power line? If you do not have mobile signal either, remember that the trusty red telephone box still works. The only numbers you can get on it without a credit/debit or phonecard are 112, 999, 100 and freephone numbers. This page won’t work in a power cut either. Why not print it out now?
